Billy Joel, Madison Square Garden

March, 4th, 2006

I went to see Billy Joel, live in the Garden. I have never been to the Garden before, and this alone was worth the price of admission. A great arena, with this feeling of history (that they are of course forcing down your throat when you enter, but it’s a good feeling).

The concert started 8:20pm and went until 10:40pm. He pretty much played all hit’s that i can recall from the top of my head, and, although i heard rumors that his voice is not what it used to be, i can not complain. The performance was probably the best i have seen, although i have not been to big ticket concerts for a while. He had an exceptionally talented crew to work with, and it was just very very well done entertainment.

This was the 10th sold out concert this spring, with concert 11 coming up (already sold out as well) in April. If you are in New York, get a ticket (yes, it will be over a brooker, and it will cost you. But it will be worth it).
